We Hereby Present to You the Winners of ‘HyconHacks!!’
Let’s give a big round of applause to all who were at the HyconHacks hackathon on September 14th and 15th!! If you were there, make some noise and give yourself a big pat on the shoulder. Well done!

HyconHacks was officially a huge success. We had over 150 people from prominent Korean universities, blockchain companies and developers from all over the world fly into Seoul to hack the night away!
All members of Team Hycon were present at the event. Hycon developers circulated the venue to talk to participants and provide their expertise in the subject matter throughout the hackathon. It really was a win-win situation for both the host and the attendees. Hycon developers were able to share their know-how and connect with upcoming talents and participants were given an opportunity to show off their coding skills and innovative ideas.
The competition occurred in the two categories of Hycon topic (Develop a Service Utilizing the Hycon Core API) and general topic (Come Up with a Way to Solve a Social Issue Using Blockchain).
Three winning teams were selected for each topic and awarded 10 million KRW (1st place), 5 million KRW (2nd place) and 3 million KRW (3rd place) in prize money. The 1st place team with the higher score also received the grand prize and a full-ride to the Berlin Hackathon next year. MouseBelt, one of the sponsors, also presented an optional topic for a small prize.
